The Washington Huskies finished the regular season with a 13-0 record. They won with a total of 8 points in the last three regular season games. In the semifinals, the Huskies defeated the Texas Longhorns 37-31 with a superb performance by QB Michael Penix Jr. He threw 29 for 38 with no turnovers and connected on 12 straight passes at one point in the game.
