United States vs South Sudan: Team USA looks unbeatable
The United States men’s basketball team starts twill face South Sudan in the second matchday of the 2024 Paris Olympics in Lille on Wednesday.
Team USA looks scary
Team USA started the tournament well with a 110-84 win over Serbia. Steve Kerr’s team was picking up the tempo as the game progressed and had no problem winning the opener. Kevin Durant led the team with 23 points in less than 17 minutes of play, followed by LeBron James who finished with 21.
South Sudan is in a good situation
South Sudan made their debut at the Olympic games in great style beating Puerto Rico 90-79. They found themselves down by eight points at the end of the opening quarter but dominated the floor the rest of the way. Carlik Jones was the top scorer for South Sudan with 19 points, followed by Marial Shayok who had 16.
