Prediction and Conclusion

Both Clemson and Stanford won their last two games and were 2-0 in conference play. This will be only their second game ever after the Tigers won 27-21 back in 1986. This is a big game for Clemson coach Dabo Swinney, who can reach 173 victories, tying the late Florida State great Bobby Bowden for most wins with an ACC school. The Cardinals have barely won any of their road games in the last couple of seasons, and it will be a huge upset if they do that today. Still, the -22.5-point spread in the Tigers favor is too much, so we go with the Cardinals to cover the spread.
