The Arizona State Sun Devils will host the Mississippi State Bulldogs at Mountain America Stadium in Tempe, Arizona on Saturday.

It has been quite a summer for the Mississippi State Bulldogs who made a coaching change as Jeff Lebby took over the team. He and the Bulldogs had a great start oif the season with a 56-7 win over Eastern Kentucky as six different players scored a touchdown. Senior QB Blake Shapen proved his worth passing for 247 yards with 3 touchdowns to lead his team to victory. He completed 75% of his passes and freshman Chris Parson got a chance to close the game.

The Arizona State Sun Devils had a confident start of the season winning 48-7 against the Wyoming Cowboys. Sam Leavitt threw for 258 yards and two touchdowns, Cam Skattebo and DeCarlos Brooks both ran for a touchdown and Arizona State won its first game as a member of the Big 12 Conference. Skattebo is now 270 rushing yards away from reaching 3,000 in his career and 342 all-purpose yards away from reaching 4,000.
