Prediction and Conclusion

Casper Ruud is not as good as he was last season and currently is in bad form, losing the last four matches, including the Laver Cup. The Norwegian had no success in the Asian tour and is pretty happy to be back in Europe. Lorenzo Sonego has never been on Ruud’s level and has lost all of the previous four head-to-head matches. The Italian has a solid serve but lacks consistency, which he needs in order to beat players from the top 10. No matter how poor Ruud played in the last couple of months, he is the better player and will end the losing streak with a win against Sonego.
