Prediction and Conclusion
Jannik Sinner had some minor issues with injuries going to Roland Garros, but from what we saw in the opening round, the Italian is ready to attack the title in Paris. He is very close to making it to the top of the ATP rankings for the first time in his career, and this may be the tournament that will launch him there. In the second round, he is facing the French veteran Richard Gasquet, who was excellent in the opening round, beating Borna Coric in straight sets. Gasquet was very close in both matches against Sinner last year, and he will be very competitive in this one on clay. Given the odds, Sinner is an absolute favorite, but Gasquet will be ready to fight, so we go with over 29.5 games in total.
