Following the French Open, Jannik Sinner is the top-ranked player in the world. The Italians are 44-4 for the season and 19-1 on hard.

This season, Sinner won his first Grand Slam at the Australian Open, defeating Medvedev in the final in five sets. He also won the titles in Halle, Miami, and Rotterdam.

This will be his second appearance in Montreal after losing in the round of 16 in 2022.

Head-to-Head Sinner leads 1-0

  • Sinner vs Coric 6-3, 2-6, 6-3 (2022 ATP Monte Carlo, first round)

Prediction and Conclusion

Jannik Sinner has had an excellent season, but missing the Olympics is not something that he planned or that he can be happy with. It is always interesting to see how a player recovers from an injury, and in this case, that should not be a problem at all for Sinner since it was nothing serious. He has only one loss to Carlos Alcaraz in Indian Wells on a hard surface and will be back in big style, defeating Coric in straight sets.
