Prediction and Conclusion
Many have counted out Gael Monfils, but the 37-year-old veteran has found his spot in the top 40 in the rankings and had a great start at the French Open this year. He played pretty well and had fun while doing it in the opening round against Thiago Seyboth Wild, and now he is ready to take on another young and uprising player. Lorenzo Musetti prefers to play on clay and is having a solid season so far. Given the odds, the Italian is a big favorite in this match, but no one should underestimate Monfils, especially when he plays in front of the home crowd. This match can easily go either way, so the best bet for this one is going over 3.5 sets in total, meaning that both players will win at least one set.
