Prediction and Conclusion

Both David Goffin and Marcos Giron won against the odds in the previous round to get here. Goffin is having a solid season and is getting closer to the top 50 in the standings. It is pretty tough to expect that he will go much higher than that, but he is still the guy who beat Federer and Nadal in back-to-back days at the Masters Finals years ago. The Belgian will face Giron, who has a perfect record in their previous two head-to-head matches. Whoever wins this game will advance to the quarterfinals, where they will probably meet Alexander Zverev. This is a huge opportunity for both, so we expect nothing less than a real fight that will go over 22.5 games in total.
