Prediction and Conclusion

This will be the third match between these two players this season, and they split the previous one. They met last week in the Monte Carlo finals, with Tsitsipas cruising to the title with a 6-1, 6-4 win. This is his fourth time reaching the final in Barcelona, and it is about time to win his first title. Ruud is in solid shape, just like Tsitsipas, he returned to the top 10 players in the rankings, but it seems that he is not ready to defeat Tsitsipas on clay at the moment. Ruud has yet to lose a set in Barcelona this week, while Tsitsipas went to three sets in the last two matches. However, Tsitsipas is the better one at the moment and will win the trophy.
