The top favorite to win the tournament Carlos Alcaraz will face Botic Van Den Zandschulp in the second round of the US Open.

Botic Van Den Zandschulp is 74th in the ATP rankings and his career high was No. 22 in the world. The Dutch is 30-24 for the season and 5-8 on hard surface.
Van Den Zandschulp is coming off a 6-4, 7-5, 6-4 win over Denis Shapovalov in the opening round.
Last week, he lost to Arthur Cazaux in the first round in Winston Salem.
This is his fourth appearance in New York and has reached the second round for the third consecutive year.
