Betting Trends

Butler is 12-13-0 ATS for the season, 4-4-0 ATS on the road and 3-6-0 ATS following a loss. Villanova is 14-11-0 ATS for the season, 7-5-0 ATS at home and 7-6-0 ATS following a win.

Prediction and Conclusion

We are used to watching Villanova go deep in the NCAA tournament, but that may not be the case this season unless this team significantly improves its game. The Wildcats were on a five-game losing streak, and it seemed like they were losing the ground under their feet, but they have regrouped in the past week. One of those losses came against Butler 88-81 in overtime, and it will be a motive plus for a payback. Butler is playing very poorly lately. Villanova simply has to go in full speed and will use the momentum to add another win by covering the -6.5-point spread.
