The UCF Knights are 12-7 for the season and 3-4 in the Big 12. They have lost three of the last five games and are coming off a 68-57 loss to Cincinnati. Forward Marchelus Avery had his best game of the season, recording 19 points and 7 rebounds against the Bearcats. Jaylin Sellers is the best player for UCF, averaging 17.2 points and 4.3 rebounds per game. The Knights are one of the worst shooting teams in the league, with 41% shooting from the field and 31.5% (328th in the country) shooting from three-point territory (285th).
UCF is 11-8-0 ATS for the season, 9-3-0 ATS at home, and 6-0-0 ATS after a loss. Miami is 11-6-1 ATS for the season, 2-1-0 ATS on the road, and 2-2-0 ATS after a loss.
The Baylor Bears have five losses this season and three of those came in the last two weeks. However, that doesn’t change the fact that the Bears are among the best teams in the country as they are ranked 18th. Unlike them, the Knights are among the worst shooting teams in the NCAA basketball. They lack consistency all season long and the Bears will take advantage of that. Baylor is going into this game with their backs against the wall and will end the losing streak with a comfortable win covering the -2.5-point spread.
