Prediction and Conclusion

This will be a rematch of last year’s semifinal in Hamburg, when Zverev won 6-2, 6-4. Both players have improved their form since then, but we will most likely see the same outcome. Fils is having an excellent tournament, dominating the previous three matches in straight sets. Zverev had ups and downs in the previous rounds, but he knows how to step his game up when needed. Playing in his home town is special for him, and he will not miss the opportunity to win his 23rd career title.
