Prediction and Conclusion

Both players have a losing record for the season and are hoping to turn things around on grass. Sonego has a much better career record on this surface and played quite well in Halle last week. He pushed Alexander Zverev to the limits, and his serve will give him a big advantage in this game. Davidovich Fokina moves better than Sonego, but that does not make a significant difference on this surface. Taking all that into account, we are going with Sonego to win this match.
